Everyone loves a lazy day where we can just chill, treat ourselves and do whatever we please. Lazy days usually consist of not leaving the house, binge watching your favourite TV show and relaxing in bed; a much needed part of our busy weeks! However, sometimes this can make us feel slouchy, demotivated and maybe even guilty. It is important to take a break but we should be able to feel and look good while we do it! Here are some tips and inspiration to help you feel more put together on a lazy day💖.

- A Nature Walk🌥️🌲 - This is not necessary for a lazy day (after all, this is your day to relax) but going outdoors can give you some fresh air which is good for your mental health. Even if it is just sitting in your garden, you can't go wrong with a bit of fresh air!
- Accessorise💍👑 - I am a massive jewellery lover so this is fundamental for me. Just putting on a cute necklace or hoop earrings can boost my mood instantly. I would choose jewellery over makeup any day of the week! Trust me, it can make you feel so put together.
- Effortless Hair👱♀️🎀 - Doing something simple with your hair, such as throwing it in a bun, ponytail, braid, claw clip, etc, can help with feeling a bit more put together with your appearance. Imagine seeing your reflection in the mirror or a window and seeing your crazy bed hair! While you might not mind, doing something quick and easy with your hair can also get it out of your way for the day.
- Skincare🫧💋- Having a simple but effective skincare routine in the morning and evening can add a little bit of aesthetic into your lazy day and leaves your skin feeling fresh and hydrated. I usually stick to a face wash, toner, serum and moisturiser (and an eyelash serum occasionally) which gives me a fresh start to my day. You can even utilise your lazy day by putting on a face mask or spot patches.
- Cute PJs👚🧖♀️ - This is your time to relax! May as well do it in style. Make sure you have a range of cozy but cute PJs to lounge in to make you feel more comfortable and confident with what you're wearing. You have to look good to feel good!
- A Tidy Bedroom🛏️🪞 - A clear space can give you a clear mind. Some people find cleaning therapeutic whereas others couldn't think of anything worse! While it may seem boring, it can help to take your mind off any stress or worries you may have and the end result is very rewarding! You could start by making your bed every morning, simple but definitely effective.
- Drinking Water🧊💧 - I know that everyone is not a water drinker however it is so important in every way! I love my water ice cold but I know some people prefer theirs at room temperature. Drinking water can regulate your mood, giving you a pleasant headspace for the day. You could set yourself a target to drink two litres of water a day and treat yourself once it becomes a habit.
- Hobbies📖🧘♀️🎮 - Doing something you enjoy on a routinely basis can allow you to enjoy yourself on your day off with plenty of (hopefully) undisturbed time. This dedicated time towards your hobby can give your day a bit more purpose and productivity instead of binge watching your favourite TV show (although still perfectly valid lol).
